The aided high school started functioning in the year 1960. N. I. Devassykutty, the  Ex-M.L.A was  the manager then. The parish (St.Theresas ship church, Eravu)     bought this school in 1986. The School has been instrumental in giving quality education to the students of the region. Due to the dedicated services of the teachers, school has produced very good results in SSLC exams. The school has produced a number of talents in the field of arts and sports. We were champions in the inter school football championship under 17 in the year 2004. At Present there are about 800 students, 30 teaching staff and 5 non teaching staff in the school.
