V.V.S.High school Mannuty (Vidhyabhi Vardhaka Samiti) is situated at mannuthy in the Jurisdictions of thrissur corporation. This school was established in 1936 by a samithi constituted under the leadrship of Kulangara Unni Ravi Nair in order to provide further education to students completing their lowerprimary education from Madakkathara N.S.L.P.School started as a U.P.,then became H.S. in 1953.There were over 2000 students in 65 divisions during the year 1970-1974.But now things have changed the number of students has diminished gradually and in 2007-2008 there are about 50 students.
