Infrastructure :-Going
well beyond the minimum regulatory prescriptions St.Paul's have been
invested with the facilities that enable advanced learning and personality
development, computer labs with internet connectivity, laboratories,
Library, seminar halls, audio visual labs, auditorium etc. dot the campus.The furniture, the gardens and student activity areas match the best
of corporate ambience and provide the students the right setting for
effective learning.
Auditorium:-School
has a spacious auditorium which can comfortably seat all
students of our school.
Library : The school maintains a
sophisticated and service ready library which subscribes to most of the
leading national and international, technical and general magazines. It is a
fine resource centre which provides the students the cutting edge advantage
to knowledge. Hostel: The
school has well furnished boarding facilities to provide comfortable
accommodation for resident students. There is a common mess facility
and dining room for the students. Laboratory
:The school owns excellent lab facilities for all science
subjects like Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology, HomeScience and Computer
Science. Each of these are well arrayed with the finest equipments. They
are well lit with proper ventilation and spacious enough to make
individual attention possible. Multimedia
facilities: To provide specialized training in soft and
hard skills, we have an audio visual facility, with advanced audio visual
teaching aids like TV , VCD, Computers, Screening
Projector, and a good collection of educational library videopedia .
School provides Edusat and Internet facilities for students under
supervision
Youth Festival:-
We give importance to the creativity and artistic talent of our students
through various literary and cultural activities like Balakalotsavam and
youth festival.The students are prepared for participation in the inter
school, district and state level competitions and have brought many accolades
to the school. Guiding:
Excellent facilities for indoor and
outdoor activities, like Guiding are provided to the students aiming at
healthy relaxation and physical exercise . Exhibition:
We have initiated a number of curricular and extra curricular activities
such as seminars and exhibitions, through which the students are motivated
to learn all the intricacies of practical subjects and are also made to
think analytically. Our students have won several prizes for the same.
Examinations: The academic
excellence of our institution is well reflected in the statistics of success
rate and high grades obtained by our students in the board
examinations and Scholarship examinations like PCM, Guru Sishya , Thaliru
and ACCA.Our students appeared for
various scholarship examinations and have won scholarships and prizes.
Club Activities:
A well established
Mathematics club
functions in our school. Science Club
and Social Science Club
are also working efficiently . Each club is conducting a
variety of programs in different occasions.
IT FAIR :-
Every year our School is participating in
district and State level IT Fair and getting envious positions.
In the year 2006-07 two of our students participated in the State IT FAIR and
one of them got Second place in IT Project and the other one got A
grade in Programming. That year ST.PAUL'S was the second best
School in IT in the State .
Vidhya Rangam Kalasahithyavedi:-
aims at encouraging various art and
literary talents of the students. The reading week was observed during the
month of June. The members participated in various competitions conducted at
the district level and won prizes. In Thaliru scholarship exam at the
state level our school secured second place.
SPIRITUALITY:- As we
believe that GOD and religion is still relevent in this age of science and
technology we make provisions in the curriculum for the teaching of religion
and Moral science. We provide orientation programmes for all our
teachers and students , and retreat for all catholic students . There is
facility for counselling. Prayer meetings are also held occasionally. Every
year many activities and competitions are conducted under
the auspices of K.C.S.L in which our students have bagged many prizes.
Our recent academic achievements
:-In 2007-08 our school topped with maximum A plus achievers in S S L C Examination.Our
school got 33 students with A+ for all the subjects .We received the
district PTA award for the best unaided school. Youth Festival:-
.In the subdistrict youth festival, Meghana Mohan of High school came first
in Mohiniyattam and Swathy Sunil won the First prize in Folk Dance and Mono Act in the U
P Section. Our U P students bagged First prize for Thiruvathirakali when the
H S students came first in Drama. Our Students got prizes for English
recitation, story writing, Thabla , Mimicry, patriotic Song And MonoAct.
Almost all our participants won prizes and grades in subdistrict and Revenue
district youth festival. Exhibition:
Our students have won several prizes in various maths and science
exhibitions held during the academic year.In the district level quiz
competition Merrin C A of Std X secured
second position .Mili M M and
Samrutha K S of Std X participated in the district level Ary In the district level
Maths exhibition, Juhi Jose of Std X A bagged 2nd prize with A grade in
Still model . Sherin Thomas of Std X C got A grade in single project.
The members of Science club participated in
the District Science exhibition in project, still model and working model
and got A grade in all items. In the District level Social Science fair
conducted at St.Clares H S S,Thancy Shamsudeen came first with A grade in
working Model and she participated in the state level Social science
Fair . She got A grade for the same. We also got B Grade in still model and
in local history writing.Guiding:
Our school guides are 74 in number and 60 of
them participated in the district rally,(camporet). They won first prize for
marching and stood second in the overall performance. Three from class X
and eight from class IX passed the Raja puraskar Test. Examinations:

first for the catechism and moral science examinations conducted by the
Arch-Diocese of Thrissur .ACCA conducted a scholarship exam in IT and our
school was elected the best school .In Orchard scholarship examination,
Christina P V secured Ist rank in the state and received a Gold Medal
for the same. In Thaliru scholarship exam at the
state level our school secured second place. SethuLakshmi M secured Ist rank
in District level Scholarship for Sugama Hindi Exam.Anju Mohan secured 2nd
position in the Malayala Manorama Whirlpool competition. Mily M M won the
district level prize for the Hindi Bhashan exam.Twinkle P Jacob secured state
level prize for the Kairali Vijnana Pareeksha. Merin Antony secured 3rd rank
in an all India aptitude test named Origin Test .
ClubActivities:
A well established Mathematics club functions
in our school. As a part of the celebrations of Aryabatta week the club
conducted quiz competitions ,essay writing competitions, Mathematics Kavitha
competitions and exhibitions in the school. . We secured
grades for number pattern , Geometric pattern, pure and applied construction,
puzzle and mathematical games. Science
Club:-
The members of Science club participated in
the District Science exhibition in project, still model and working model
and got A grade in all items. Eneregy conservation club was
inaugurated on 1st Oct. Quiz and painting competitions were held
in connection with energy conservation week.As part of the World Aids
Day an awareness class was conducted for +2 students .They
were taken to the medical exhibition conducted by the Jubilee mission
Medical college Thrissur..

got Second place in Computer Quiz and First place in Computer Project. In
the state we got B grade for the project.
